The cottages have four bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and a living room with kitchen.
During the Grafenegg Festival, Grafenegg Advent and at certain times, individual rooms can be booked.
Entire cottages can be booked throughout the year.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet.
Our innovative entry system allows you to access you cottage or room anytime, without key or card, using a access code. Currently, you will receive your access code at Check-In at the Old Barn.
The new gardens of the cottages were designed by the renowned British landscape designer Todd Longstaff Gowan. Over 350 new trees and shrubs have been planted.
53m3 of timber were used to build each house, thus storing approximately 850 tonnes of CO2 with the 16 cottages. The source of energy for the cottages is our own hydropower station making the houses virtually emission-free.

Visiting Orchestras at the Grafenegg Festival 2020 include the Mariinsky Orchestra St. Petersburg, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the European Union Youth Orchestra and many more.
What are the prices for staying at the Cottages?
Each Cottage has 4 double rooms, sleeping 8 guests. The cost for the first night is € 360.00 for the entire Cottage including VAT and local tax. If you stay more than one night the price will be lower. Also, if you do not require all 4 bedrooms but you still want to have the exclusive use of the Cottages, the price will be lower. Please use the reservation tool to check the price for your stay.
During the Grafenegg Festival (13th August to 5th September 2021) you can also book individual rooms in the Cottages at the price of € 135.00 per room per night including breakfast buffet in the Old Barn right next to the Cottages, VAT and local tax. There are also lower prices for longer stays during the Festival.
How do I book a Room or a Cottage?

Can I also book individual rooms in a Cottage?
Normally you can only book a Cottage but we do offer discounts if you do not want to use all four bedrooms. During the Grafenegg Festival (13th August to 5th September 2021), Grafenegger Advent and as well as at certain periods you can also book individual rooms.
Can I get breakfast?
When booking your Cottage you may order your breakfast which will be delivered to your Cottage. During the Grafenegg Festival the price per night always includes breakfast which will be served in the Old Barn next to the Cottages.
How do I pay?
You pay with your online reservation. Payment can be made using VISA or Mastercard or via direct banking (Klarna).
What is in the Cottages?
Each Cottage has 4 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. In the bathrooms there are towels as well as complimentary shower gel and shampoo. In the living room you will find a large table seating up to 8 guests and a lounge space. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for your use.
We can also provide a Nespresso machine incl. 20 capsules at the price of € 15,00 per stay in your cottage.
How will the Cottages be cleaned?
Cleaning is included in the price. If you stay for more than one night we will change towels and clean baths and the kitchen after the third night.
Is there WIFI?
Free WIFI is available in all Cottages.
What other services can I book?
Apart from ordering breakfast, you can order different wine packages, Nespresso machine and baby beds and chairs. Two weeks prior to your arrival you will receive an email with the option to book these additional services for your stay.
Check-In / Check-Out
We operate an innovative key- and cardless access system to the Cottages.
Due to the Corona pandemic, the following regulations apply until further notice:
Before your check-in you must present a valid, negative test result, a vaccination certificate (the first vaccination must have taken place 21 days ago), or a confirmation that you have recovered from COVID-19. In the future this information may be presented using the green passport.
No testing is possible in Grafenegg!
Check-Out time is 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. Please note that your codes will not work after that time.
How do I find the Cottages?
Guests of our Cottages may use a dedicated entrance to the grounds through the Krems gate.
Where do I park my car?
Free parking is available next to the Old Barn which is very near the Cottages. You may drive to your Cottage for Unloading and Loading but then please park your car at the indicated car park.
Are Animals allowed in the Cottages?
Generally animals are not allowed in the Cottages. If you plan to bring your pet please contact us in advance on +43 664 149 2446.
Can I smoke in the Cottages?
Smoking is not allowed in the Cottages but each room, also the bedrooms, have doors to the gardens.
What are the cancellation fees?
If you cancel within 4 weeks of your planned arrival we will have to charge 50% of the cost of your stay.
If you cancel within 2 weeks of your planned arrival we will have to charge 80% of the cost of your stay. In case of cancellation the refundable part of your payment will be returned to you.
How do I find out if a concert is outdoors or indoors?
Please visit www.grafenegg.com where the venue decision will be published at least two to three hours prior to the concert.
Where can I get lunch or dinner?
The restaurant at Grafenegg, the “Schlosstaverne” is open from April to December on Wednesdays to Sundays for lunch and dinner. You may also check www.wirtshauskultur.at for other restaurants within the region.
Please also visit the Wineshop “Vinothegg” at Grafenegg, open Wednesday to Sunday, where you can buy regional wines. Or buy your wine package direct with your booking which you can then enjoy on your terrace.
When can I visit the castle and the park?
The castle is open for visits Wednesdays to Sundays (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) from 27th April to 28th October 2019. The historic gardens at Grafenegg can be visited free of charge at any time. Please not that on concert days the gardens can only entered with a valid concert ticket.
